One of Kuwait’s leading F.M.C.G. business’, the Consumer Products Division of Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Bahar, has its roots/history going back as far as the 1950’s. It was during this time that the Unilever Group appointed Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Bahar its Distributor for a specific range of products which today are identified as two entities - HPC (Home & Personal Care Products), and Food & Beverages.  Under these two entities one will find household names such as Lux, Omo, Signal, Comfort, Jiff, Close Up, Lipton, Flora Margarine, to name but a few.   

Complementing the Unilever products the Division distributes, Hershey Confectionary (Hershey International), Cortas Homos, Tahinee, Oil(Cortas Refrg. & Canning Co), Amstel Non-Alcoholic Beer(Heineken Export Group),Three Star Matches (Swedish Match Co), Halwani(Halwani Bros), Frutessa Jam (Swiss Quality Food-Hero Group), Al-Bahar Industries (Jassim M Al-Bahar), Aral Sugar (Aral Industries Ltd), Halwani International and Al Alali (Qualpro Group) making the Division a diversified provider of many of the daily requirements of the average household.
Supported by a Professional Sales, Merchandising and Delivery Team, the Division sells to all major outlets in the State of Kuwait, which include Co-operative’s, Wholesale, Retail, Government as well as Non-Government Departments.
The Division's singular strength is it's manpower which has sustained it's progress even with the intense compition in the market. The spirit of it's employees and their ability to steer through all the chaos of the competition has progressively powered the Division's growth of what it is today.

The Consumer business which represents some 20% of the Group's turnover will continue to grow by diversification and innovation confirming our leadership position in the local market.
